Coaches and facilitators
How we can help
Over the years we've worked closely with many expert leadership development professionals to develop and facilitate programmes and provide leadership coaching.
We stay up to date with the latest approaches in coaching and facilitating and, through our partnerships, we've come to know the specialist areas of many consultants.
We can advise your agency on:
- a suitable coach or facilitator to address your needs
- how to establish relationships with a coach or facilitator, including how to identify appropriate credentials.
Note: Member agencies are responsible for both contacting and contracting suppliers directly.
LDC pre-qualified facilitators
We have engaged a group of individual suppliers from across New Zealand who are pre-qualified to deliver Te Kaihautū | New People Leader Development and Te Kaitaki | New Leader of Leaders Development to member agencies.

LDC pre-qualified coaches
We’ve established a pre-qualified supplier list of credible and experienced professional coaches available to deliver coaching to leaders across the New Zealand Public Service.
Coaches versus mentors
Coaches and mentors fulfil different functions. They may use similar models and skills of questioning, listening, clarifying and reframing. However, coaching and mentoring are generally delivered by individuals with different qualifications and there is a different relationship between the parties involved.
You can read more about the difference between coaching and mentoring on the SpriggHR website.
