Carol has worked in Government for 38 years, with experience as a leader, manager and relationship manager. She’s done formal leadership coaching since 2014 as part of the Ministry of Social Development Internal Coaching Service, where she was in demand as a Māori coach.
Carol’s previous experience allows her to appreciate the challenges and issues that other leaders may face. She encourages new perspectives and making new discoveries together. She empowers her clients to unlock their own solutions.
Carol is relaxed and easy to engage with. She takes the lead from her clients, acknowledging their experience and what works for them. She is professional, genuine and authentic – being real helps connection and provides a safe place to test thinking.
Carol is an accredited Human Synergistics Coach (2015); she holds a ‘Professional Mentoring & Workplace Coaching Skills’ qualification (2019) and an Institute of Management NZ Coaching for Practitioners certificate (2019).
