Karen is an experienced strategic facilitator and coach with a proven track record in public service agency development.
In addition she is trusted within iwi, hapū and Māori organisations to provide leadership support and strategic advice, often including coaching roles. She has extensive experience with Tiriti-based analysis, Māori Crown Relationship Framework capability and Māori engagement strategy. She maintains a strong grasp of the evolving Māori Crown interfaces and draws on elements of mātauranga Māori, contemporary Māori realities, and Māori approaches to leadership in her practice.
Known for her empowering, holistic, high stretch style Karen supports leaders to greater awareness and embedding new strategies for impact with the intention of results being quickly seen and felt.
Karen is a conversational speaker of Te Reo Māori. Over 25 years of lived development practice has honed her craft which is underpinned by a Bachelor of Education, a Diploma of Teaching and training with the New Zealand Coaching and Mentoring Centre.
