Brenda’s past experience includes treasured roles as the Lead Human Resources Advisor Organisational Development at the Ministry of Social Development, and as the Director Office for the Community and Voluntary Sector, living and breathing the interface between government and the non-profit sector.
She has over a decade’s experience in leadership coaching and has a depth of lived experience in the New Zealand public sector.
Brenda knows that the soft skills are really the hard skills, and is highly attuned to providing a safe and supportive environment. Her coaching style is honest and accountable, in what she calls ‘assertive kindness’.
She is skilled in working with diversity and inclusion, and enjoys individual and group coaching to support these networks to reach up and out and be successful.
She is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer and Coach, and Multiple Brain Integration Techniques (mBIT) Coach. She is also certified in Leadership Success Profile (LSP) 360 and The Leadership Circle TM 360.
